As we work to curb the spread of COVID-19, the Faculty of Music has decided to cancelled Voice Lab for this summer's session. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact choosemusic@wlu.ca.
For the latest updates regarding COVID-19, visit Laurier's coronavirus information page.
Information for 2021 Voice Lab will be posted when available. We wish you all the best in these coming weeks and look forward to seeing you next year.
Wilfrid Laurier University is proud to present our 2020 Voice Lab, a unique not-for-credit workshop for undergraduate and graduate-level singers who wish to pursue vocal studies beyond the fall and winter terms offered by most universities.
Voice Lab's concentration of studies results in significant, often accelerated vocal progress, and a well-learned body of repertoire, some of which is performed in concert during the workshop. The workshop focuses on the creative process of the singer, with ample one-on-one lesson time with both voice pedagogues and collaborative pianists, group lessons, body work and much more.
Dates: May 11 - 29, 2020
Location: Faculty of Music, Wilfrid Laurier University
Fee: $1,250 (full program), $950 (with reduced lessons/coaching)
Application deadline: April 20, 2020
Please note that no refund of any sort will be given if the university is closed for any reason during your course.
Scholarship assistance is available (upon request) to students with financial need on a case-by-case basis and will be determined and allocated once all students have enrolled.
Wilfrid Laurier University reserves the right to cancel a course in which there is insufficient enrolment. In the event of a cancellation, students will be informed and all fees will be refunded.
