For Immediate Release
Continuing its strong tradition of delivering practical executive education, the Lazaridis Executive Master’s in Technology Management (EMTM) program has announced an exciting extension of its curriculum that includes a week-long residency at UC-Berkeley.
For one week in February, EMTM learners will be invited to participate in a program on innovative design thinking from world-class instructors from both Berkeley and the Stanford d.school. The week will focus on the ways in which innovative design can be harnessed by managers in the technology-based business community to maintain a competitive advantage.
Learners will also benefit from on-site visits to some of Silicon Valley’s most influential tech-based firms such as Google, Amazon and Ford-IDEO. More companies will be added to the hands-on learning plan in the future.
EMTM Program Director, Hamid Noori is encouraged by the recognition being gained through this partnership and says, “the addition of a week-long residency into our already unique curriculum will create a special opportunity for our graduates. Learners will also benefit from the experience of recognized authors and thinkers in the field who can highlight the challenge of adapting design thinking into innovative organizations."
