Print | PDFWilfrid Laurier University would like to inform the Laurier community of an investigation by Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS) into a bomb threat posted to a social media site. The post referenced March 14 and 15 and the area of Ezra Avenue near Laurier’s Waterloo campus. Detectives from WRPS’s Criminal Investigations Branch continue to investigate the legitimacy of the alleged threat. Police are reminding the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity or individuals to police immediately. Anyone with information about this incident or the identity of the individual making the threat is encouraged to contact police at 519-570-9777 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
