The Faculty of Liberal Arts (FLA) has been spearheading a number of exciting projects to create and promote a culture of undergraduate research at Laurier.
In order to cultivate excellence in undergraduate research, the FLA's undergraduate research initiatives provide a range of support for students to develop their research skills and to showcase their research on and off campus.
If you have any questions about the FLA's undergraduate research initiatives, don't hesitate to email FLAAdmin@wlu.ca
Our Undergraduate Research Apprenticeship Program provides exceptional students with the opportunity to pair with faculty mentors to develop and conduct innovative research projects. Students selected for the program receive a research award generously funded by the Race family.
Our annual Academic, Creative and Engaged Research Showcase (ACERS), featuring student conferences, workshops, special lectures and presentations, has been a great success and we look forward to continuing to foster and celebrate undergraduate research at Laurier.
Don't miss out on the opportunity to submit your undergraduate research and the chance to win cash prizes.
The FLA's journal, Bridges: An Undergraduate Journal of Contemporary Connections publishes top quality essays and reviews by Laurier undergraduate students and has developed an extensive international readership.
