Mental Health Services Designed for You
Designed to help you navigate challenges and thrive during your time at Laurier, we offer numerous direct pathways to mental health support, offered both in-person and virtually, to help meet you where you are.
Elevated and Coordinated Student Support
If you find yourself experiencing more complex challenges or extenuating circumstances that impact your academics, or require coordinated support through multiple campus departments, the Student Care and Support staff in the Dean of Students Office is here for you. Whether you require coordinated support for academic disruptions due to mental health challenges, hospitalizations, or unexpected personal or family emergencies, the Student Care and Support staff can help connect you to the right resources and make sure you have a plan for wellness and success following times of difficulty.

Offering a wide range of services including access to doctors and registered nurses, sexual health appointments, counsellors, mental health nurses, registered dietitians, and more, the Student Wellness Centre provides a safe and welcoming environment for you to get the care you need.

Receiving Accommodations
If your mental health is impacting your academic abilities, you may benefit from connecting with Accessible Learning. Accessible Learning supports students with permanent, temporary, persistent/prolonged, and suspected disabilities, including those with a mental health diagnosis. Accessible Learning listens to your story, by considering your academic program and any information from your healthcare provider, to create an accommodation plan with you that adjusts tasks, activities, or the learning environment to better facilitate your access and engagement. You do not need documentation or a formal diagnosis to connect and learn about the supports for which you may be eligible.
