University Impact Ranking

Times Higher Education (THE) has ranked Laurier among the top 15% of global universities in its 2024 University Impact Rankings. THE assessed 2,152 universities in 125 countries that are working toward the SDGs.

Laurier was celebrated for tackling climate change, fostering gender equity, and promoting peaceful and just societies.

Laurier ranked in the top 15% for SDG 5: Gender Equality and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals. Laurier ranked in the top 20% for SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, and in the top 25% for SDG 6: Clean Water and Sanitation and SDG 13: Climate Action.
