I grew up in St. John’s, Newfoundland, where I studied both tuba performance and composition at Memorial University of Newfoundland. In 2011, I moved to Ontario to begin Doctoral studies at the University of Toronto. I am a proud Eastman Performing Artist and perform with a variety of ensembles throughout Ontario including the Trillium Brass Quintet, Hannaford Street Silver Band, London Symphonia, Hamilton Philharmonic, Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony, Esprit Orchestra, the Canadian Opera Company Orchestra, the National Ballet of Canada Orchestra, and the Stratford Festival.
Additionally, I am also a composer and arranger. I’ve had many of my works for brass performed and recorded in Canada and abroad. You can find my music published in SP&S, Maple Leaf Brass, Experianza Music, Cimarron Music Press, and BrookWright Music.
