Currently I’m a performer and bassoon teacher based in Ontario. Currently, I’m the Principal Bassoon of Orchestra Toronto, and I regularly perform with the Scarborough Philharmonic Orchestra. I’ve had the privilege of playing with ensembles across Canada, including the National Arts Centre Orchestra, Winnipeg Symphony, and Windsor Symphony. You can also hear me on the soundtrack of the video game Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course.
As a dedicated teacher, my bassoon students have achieved positions in top youth and professional orchestras like the Toronto Symphony Youth Orchestra, National Youth Orchestra of Canada, and the Toronto Symphony Orchestra. I’m thrilled to be joining Wilfred Laurier University as instructor of bassoon. When I’m not playing the bassoon, I love chasing my son Dante, brewing pour-over coffee, and perfecting my homemade pizza recipe.
