Faculty of Music Response to News of Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony 2023-24 Season Cancellation

Print | PDFWe in the Faculty of Music at Laurier are saddened to learn that the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony has cancelled their 2023-2024 season.
The KWS is an integral part of our region’s culture and community, and we strongly value our connections with the organization and its members.
Most of our students, faculty and alumni from the Faculty of Music have performed with or collaborated with the symphony.
We are currently exploring ways to support the young musicians affected by the cancellation of the symphony’s youth orchestra programs. We will share more details soon.
The Faculty of Music at Wilfrid Laurier University offers a diverse array of events, including concerts, recitals, guest workshops, and other community events.
