Print | PDFWe are thrilled to announce that Laurier alumnus James Baker (BMus 2020), has won First Prize Classical Guitar at the 2023 National Music Festival. This prestigious competition showcases the best young musicians from across Canada, and we are so proud of James for his outstanding achievement.
James is a talented and dedicated guitarist who has pursued his passion for music with excellence. He is now attending the University of Toronto, where he will start his Doctor of Musical Arts Program in Classical Guitar Performance, following his graduation from the Master’s program in performance at U of T.
