Welcome to Research Chat, Laurier’s inaugural series of graduate research focused podcasts co-produced by the Office of Research Services and the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.
It is truly an exciting time to be at Laurier. We are a rapidly emerging research-intensive university, which has placed particular emphasis on growing our excellence in research. At Laurier, research is central to our strategic vision, where we seek to conduct interdisciplinary, community engaged scholarship across a range of disciplines.
The foundation of research at Laurier is our world-leading faculty researchers, dynamic research centres, sophisticated facilities, our partners, and of course, our tremendous students. Students are key members to our thriving community.
Our intimate graduate school experience has grown a rich research culture that supports our graduate students to thrive as leading researchers and innovators of tomorrow. The stories showcased here were contributed by Laurier’s graduate students, sharing their work in their own words.
Happy listening, and we look forward to sharing more of our graduate research stories with you in the future!
