Dr. Eve Lamargot holds a PhD in Management Accounting from HEC Montréal, a Master’s degree in Management Control from the Université Paris-Dauphine (France), and a Master of Science from Institut Mines-Télécom Business School (France).
Her research interests are diversified and focus essentially on management accounting and control systems, performance management, and cognition. She has a special interest in hybrid organizations, corruption, and intimate partner violence.
Dr. Lamargot is also a passionate teacher and mentor motivated by the transformation of her students into knowledgeable, responsible, and thriving professionals. She strives to place her students’ learning and growth at the heart of her teaching activities to help them achieve success in their academic as well as professional paths. Her teaching style combines mentoring by walking the classroom, co-creating learning opportunities using tools such as the flipped classroom, peer learning, the case method, and gamification, and caring deeply for her students' wellbeing.
Dr. Lamargot's current research projects revolve around the relationship between conceptions of performance and performance management.
