Dr. Osama Butt is an Assistant Professor in Marketing. He holds a doctorate in Education Leadership & Policy from University of Toronto, an MBA in Marketing from West Texas A&M University (USA), and a Master Degree in Economics from University of the Punjab, Pakistan. Prior to joining Laurier, he has taught at McMaster University, Toronto Metropolitan University, University of Guelph, University of Texas – Pan Am (Rio Grande), as well as at St. Joseph’s College (NY).
Previously he has also worked as Chair, Department of Management Sciences, Bahria University, Lahore Campus (Pakistan), and Area Coordinator Marketing at FAST-National University of Computer & Emerging Sciences, Lahore Campus (Pakistan).
His research interests include branding, higher education marketing, and consumer psychology. His research has appeared in reputable marketing proceedings as well as in Journal of Brand Management.
