Waterloo Campus Power Shutdown - Saturday, Aug. 28

Please note that in order to continue with commissioning of the microgrid/power generation project, the Energy Service Company will be conducting a power shutdown to the Waterloo campus on Saturday, Aug. 28 from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
During this time, power will be shut off to all buildings located on the campus block (bound by Albert Street, Bricker Avenue, King Street and University Avenue) EXCEPT for Martin Luther University College Building.
Any critical systems powered by generator backup will continue to function independently of this work. Kindly note that access into the affected building(s) may also be restricted during this time.
We understand this work will cause inconvenience to the University community, however, these activities will result in a more reliable power service to the campus in the years to come.
