Print | PDFWilfrid Laurier University is aware of a fire that took place at a house on Albert Street between Hickory St. and University Avenue in Waterloo just before 9 a.m. the morning of August 14.
The house next door to the primary fire also sustained some damage. The university has provided the Laurier student residents in the house next door with emergency residence accommodations and offered wellness support. No Laurier students were residents of the house where the fire started.
The fire is under active investigation by fire and police authorities.
