Print | PDFThe City of Brantford is planning to host a large-scale film production in and around the area of 90 Colborne Street. Pre-production activity will begin on April 19. Members of the Laurier community should be aware that at times during filming, which takes place April 30 to May 5, there will be an array of special effects in use, including pyrotechnics, fires, simulated gunfire, mock weapons and officers, mock police vehicles, drones, and simulated street brawls.

The filming activity will also impact access to streets and sidewalks, and there will be intermittent traffic stoppages. The production has applied for a noise bylaw exemption, and on filming days, activity may be going on late at night and very early in the morning.
