Co-op for Business Technology Management Students

When you complete the Business Technology Management (BTM) program, you will gain traditional business skills, the latest knowledge of technology and courses in leadership and liberal arts.

You will learn to assess the value technology brings to an organization and how it can best be integrated with existing systems.

How Business Technology Management Co-op Works

Co-op allows you to develop skills and gain real-world experience while completing paid work terms.

You will automatically be eligible for the co-op program as a BTM student. This means that you do not have to go through the competitive admission process to participate in co-op. Instead, you can choose whether or not you would like to participate in the co-op program.

If you choose to participate in co-op, and meet the requirements, you will get assistance with career planning, job search and interview preparation through the Fundamentals of Co-operative Education course. You will then apply to job postings and attend interviews to secure your co-op employment.

Course Sequencing

Students in the BTM co-op program complete an eight-month work term from September through April and a four-month work term from September through December.
