I have been playing electric guitar for over 20 years, and hold a Bachelor of Music (BMus) in Classical Guitar from Laurier.
While studying at Laurier, I helped form the band Will Currie and the Country French. We toured Canada numerous times and have released three full-length albums, as well as an EP. Some bands that we shared the stage with include Our Lady Peace, David Wilcox, Sloan and Tokyo Police Club. I also play guitar in the Phoenix Jazz Group, as well as several other bands.
Some of my other musical projects include playing in tribute bands to artists such as Boston, Steely Dan, Mark Knopfler and Peter Gabriel.
My lessons place an emphasis on what the student wants to work on, as well as what I think they should know. I aim to help people become well-rounded musicians.
