I hold a diploma in Music-Performance (Voice Major) from Cambrian College (2011) where I graduated with honours and excelled in Voice Studies, Music History and Vocal Pedagogy.
As well as singing and performing in various musical projects, I have worked as a teacher and vocal instructor since moving to Kitchener-Waterloo in 2012. Some bands and performances I’ve been a part of include The Crazy Diamonds, The Divines, LoFi Mind, and most recently Ben Rollo Presents the Music of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. Other career highlights include: Kitchener Bluesfest with Miss Angel and the Homewreckers (2024) and The Grand River Blues Society presents The Music of Etta James (2017).
I’m passionate about teaching students of various levels and backgrounds. I love helping students develop a healthy vocal technique in whatever genre/style they enjoy, while encouraging positive self-assessment. I help students gain the confidence and skill set required for performing and I’m experienced working with students who struggle with performance anxiety.
I’m bilingual and offer lessons in English and French. I specialize in modern music and performance including Classic Rock, Country, R&B, Blues, Modern Pop and other commercial styles.
It’s a wonderful experience to share music and knowledge with others. By creating a positive learning environment, a student can sing freely and with joy, while learning practical skills to help achieve their goals.
