PhD in Management, Marketing
While assessing the Ph.D. in Management program at Lazaridis School of Business and Economics in detail, I inferred that the marketing faculty are all experienced and well-published faculty doing cutting-edge research in areas that match my interests and goals. Also, I am strongly attracted to its program's incredible selection of courses all of which are essential requirements for my goals. Overall, I see a great opportunity for which I can learn about my desired courses, engage in meaningful academic research, participate in leading conferences, and publish my research in reputable journals.
Having spent around 5 years in the corporate world in the marketing and product innovation field I am eager to deeply study more about predicting market behavior and the results of introducing new products and categories to the market. Therefore, my research interests consist of “Consumer Behavior," "Product Innovation and Design," "Brand Extension Innovation," and "Marketing and Brand Management," all of which converge perfectly with my interests and goals.
I want to pursue a career in academia with a focus on both research and teaching.
