PhD in Management, Accounting
My choice of Lazaridis School of Business and Economics was for four reasons – Small student to faculty ratio; friendly faculty and genuinely caring professors who are excited about practical and transformative research; lovely collegial atmosphere and friendly students’ body and proximity to the Lazaridis Institute for the Management of Technology Enterprises and the innovation and technology application opportunities it provides.
My research interests have largely centered around corporate governance, risk management, innovation and reputation. Currently, I am studying the impact of ‘efficiency’ and ‘cost cutting’ on risk management in businesses.
As a a life-long learner, I love start-ups and my goal is to become a professor and conduct high-quality research and teaching that will help inspire and engender a new wave of curiosity and innovation among my students.
