PhD in Management, Supply Chain, Operations and Technology Management
I chose to do a PhD at Lazaridis School of Business and Economics mainly because the school's strengths in Logistics and Supply Chain Management (SCM) are commensurate with my research interests and future career goals. The specific area requirement of our PhD program in “Supply Chain, Operations, and Technology Management” is aligned with my academic background in Information Technology and Engineering Management. Moreover, our doctoral program approach in producing outstanding scholars in the fields of SCM assist me to achieve excellence through extensive preparation in the major, a related minor stream courses, joint research with faculty, and independent research culminating in a doctoral dissertation.

Subsequent to earning a PhD in SCM, I plan to pursue an academic career at a leading university in my field. My aim is to pursue my aspiration for research on investigating issues concerned with establishment of a foundation towards approaching zero-emission logistics industry through emphasizing on creation/improving of new business models between shipper and logistics service providers in the supply chain.
